Palabras de la ciencia

"Palabras de la ciencia" is an exhibition produced by the Science Museums of A Coruña, about current innovative scientific experiments and closer to the interests of citizens.

One of the interactive devices around the six thematic areas on the exhibition, "Technology is changing our society," has been developed by Ilux Visual Technologies in collaboration with the Advanced Visualization Group (VideaLAB) of the University of A Coruña.

This is a museum installation based on a system of image analysis of everyday objects that interacts with the user through its hands and a kind of discs. This particular version has been adapted to the content included in the renovation of the exhibition "Palabras de la Ciencia”. It works "hunting words" with the discs and providing the user with information related to them.

The system is capable of displaying different types of content (text, photos, news...) and can be updated automatically with different contents and information supplied by the user to the system. It is completely adaptable to different configurations in different exhibition halls.

The system allows single or simultaneous use up to 4 users.
