Emetel, Altia and ILUX organize a conference dedicated to innovation in smart ports.
A Coruña hosted, yesterday, a conference entitled “A Coruña, capital of innovation in the port sector” organized by Emetel, Altia and ILUX. In it, experts pushed for technological innovation in the port of A Coruña to compete economically.
The event brought together representatives from eight port authorities, including Aviles, Gijon, Vigo and Portos de Galicia, and representatives of other stakeholders with innovative solutions for the sector, with the aim of finding new paths towards smart port and combine innovation through collaboration.
At the conference, it was emphasized that ports play a major role in the growth of cities as economic drivers and in communities such as Galicia, Asturias and the Basque Country its technological development is vital to be competitive in a market that is continually growing.
